December 12, 2010

finally, finals.

It's here. Finals week. AND I'm excited for it. I'm excited to get all the tests over and done with. To have a month of relaxation to myself. It's been a crazy last month. Some full of fun and excitement... other weekends full of, well, drama.

Events that have taken place:
vegas themed dance.
harry potter premiere.
jazz games.
iphone 4 purchased.
car broken into (not a very fun night)
hockey game.
will coming to utah from alabama.
working crazy hours in the middle of the night.
life threatening events.
seeing my fav. niece and nephew from a previous relationship.
first time ever black friday shopping.
writing a 30 page paper that wasn't even for me.
getting ready for finals week.
work.
got named Randi's favorite internet friend.
went home A LOT.
ward christmas party.
waxed.
random dates; which have been enjoyable.
and loving my family more than ever.

It's been a fun month or so since I last blogged. The month of December looks promising during the break to be full of more adventures. I promise to one day, post pictures from all my activities. Until next time.

Creeper

This afternoon, I'm sitting at work. Doing what I do best: Creeping.

We aren't allowed to be on FB (another great site to creep unknowns) so I spend my time creeping blogs. Is it weird that I'm admitting this via blogspot? I don't think so.

I think creeping is just a form of flattery. It's me saying, or mostly just thinking, wow they've got a great life, how can I copy what they're doing so I have just as much fun. Or sometimes I see peoples blogs and think: wtf is going on there?

I LOVE to creep. (and if we were all being honest with ourselves, so do you).

So as a favor to you, I'll keep creeping you. :)

Loves,

Lizzle

Speak Now

I've got the new T-Swift song on the brain. It's probably my new favorite; hence the title. If you haven't heard it check it out, yo!

Today's posting will include random thoughts by yours truly.

Why is it that when you think you've got things figured out, you're thrown a curve ball?
I've fallen out of like with a certain someone and don't know how to tell him. Or if I should. Oops!
Dancing can be dangerous: I got elbowed in the head at The Howl and have now got a tender spot a top my head.
Blogging about my random thoughts is actually me procrastinating going to school or homework. At this moment in time, it's homework. Math to be exact.
My birthday is in two days. Holler, I'll be 22. Yikes. On a side note, I always thought I'd be married by now.. which is weird to say because, helloooo, 22 is super young to start spending FOREVER with someone. But once again, my life is awesome and I woulnd't want it any other way. It's weird that our culture is so caught up in being married at a young age but if it works for you, that's great! Maybe I'm just jealous. :)
Monster Energy drinks are my drink of choice these days. I love being awake at all hours of the night.
The last few days have been super eventful and I'm still trying to take it all in. Haha.
I ate 3 cookies today and feel guilty for doing so. I think I have something wrong with me. Why should I make myself feel bad for eating something? Now I'm thinking, great I'll have to spend an extra 30 minutes at the gym to work that off.
I don't feel like working out today.

I'm full of random thoughts today. And the list could go on if I let it. But I'll stop it here. Loves!

It's Been A Minute

Dang, it's been a minute since I last posted something. I guess part of it is because I never know what to blog about. My life isn't always super exciting; this whole work and school and work and school thing, really is getting in the way of my social life. :) But this last weekend was fall break, which was most needed. My mom took the girls (me and Bridge) for a weekend in Vegas and St. Geezy. It was really nice to get away from everything (work, school, boys- weird about the boys, but sometimes you need a break from them too). We did what the Buckner women know how to do best: Shop. My mom was super nice and generous with getting us some new clothing items. I might have a new favorite store: H&M. Too bad they don't have one in the 801...
I read a new book series on our road trip called, The Hunger Games. Hello! They were amazing. :)

This morning I did my math homework, tried looking up some information on a paper I have to write about Pirates.. Yes. Pirates. Guess it's going to be a day of writing and using the aid of the librarian because heaven knows I'm not very good at trying to look up that stuff. Gosh, I sure love school. Talking about school, it's homecoming week! Yay! I'm really excited for the homecoming football game. The Aggies are actually having a great year compared to recent years. For some reason, our school really hates BYU and just a few weeks ago, we beat BYU in football! Ahhh yeah! It was the first time the Aggies have beat the Cougs in 17 years... Go us. Finally!

Dating has been great to say the least. After almost 2 years of being off the market, I'm finding it really easy to go back in the world that is dating. Maybe it's because I've done a little growing up, and maybe because breaking up with said boy was the best thing to happen to me thus far. It made me realize I shouldn't have given up on the things I love to do- read, sing, play the piano, be a complete nerd, watch ballets, being a "City Girl"Those are the things that make me, me! And if you don't like it than that's your problem and you can deal with it. It's weird what growing a back bone does to your self confidence. :) Now I just want to do all sorts of fun things, and be young and single! Some fun dates have included:

Pumpkin Carving
Corn Maze
APX Dinner Date
Racing Go Karts
Snow Cones
Pizza Factory
Playing At The Park
Raquetball Lessons
Counrty Swing Dancing
Movies (Of course)

If you've got some great date ideas, let me know! I'm all about the fun times right now. Doing things I've never done before, so give me some pointers.

I know this post has been most riveting, and you're probably finding yourself unable to pull yourself away from it. But this is all I've got folks. Adios, amigos!

September 26, 2010

I feel good, I feel great, I feel wonderful. :)

Life is so good right now! I couldn't be happier. :) I have a great roommate, an awesome family, fantastic friends, a great school, a new car. I'm sure you're getting the picture. This past weekend made me realize how great I've got it! Iwent to a hockey game with my friends. We won of course :)

After the game we fed the ducks at first dam in Logan Canyon. We didn't see where the ducks were at first, but then we found them around the corner, in the water. Who would have guessed, huh?

And more importantly, we three manned a long board down old main. :)

Saturday night we went to Provo to hang out with some of my friends at Spark Lounge. It was super swanky and we loved it!

It was so awesome to be able to see my friends and hang out with my friends for the weekend and just be me! Having friends in my life is the biggest blessing. They've been there for me during everything and I love them a lot. Geez, this is sappy but you get the point. :)

Get it Girl

So, I did it. I got a blog. The next problem is, what do I blog about?
Life is fantastic at the moment.
I'm going to school and working and back in the game we call dating.
I've had an interesting past few days.
I love watching Rob&Big. Glee. Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
I guess the first blog is the hardest, but I'll get it down.
For now, I'm just trying to figure out the background settings and pictures.

Loves,

Lizzie
